Accessibility
A Website for Everyone
Rex Farms Ltd. wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use assistive technology or have difficulty with a mouse, small text or slow connections.
Last updated: 22 October 2026
Our aim
We aim to build and maintain this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We have not yet had the website formally audited, so we do not claim full conformance.
What we have built in
- A “skip to content” link and a clear page structure, with one main heading per page.
- Menus, tabs, dropdowns and forms that can be used with a keyboard, with visible focus outlines.
- Text that can be enlarged, and layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and desktops.
- Form fields with labels, and error messages shown in text rather than colour alone.
- Animations that are switched off for visitors whose device is set to reduce motion.
- Images that should carry descriptive text (alt text) when real photographs are added.
Known limitations
We are still developing the website and its content. Some pages currently use placeholder images, and we will add descriptive text for each real photograph as it is added. If you find something that is hard to use, please tell us.
Feedback and help
If you have difficulty using any part of this website, or you need information in another format, please contact us through our contact page. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we will do our best to help and to fix the problem.
